Chapter 1: In the Beginning (part 8)

Flash of Light Number 1: Chaos is to Be Expected.

You can be the smartest person in the world, have a terrific background (I was a life coach trained in personal development and human potential and my husband was an experienced elder law and estate planning attorney), have a plan (we had all of the appropriate documents in place such as powers of attorney), a supportive family structure (mine couldn’t be better and it even included an RN), and regardless, when a traumatic event occurs, chaos will ensue, and things will spin almost out of control . . . and it’s okay.

It doesn’t matter what happens, it’s how you respond to what happens that matters.
